Annie and I just got back from Singapore last night and still a little bit on the tired side today. It was a good trip overall (minus work of course). We got a chance to walk around Singapore and see the places we saw a long time ago, this time we were prepared with a camera. Annie spent most of the day when I was working with Sophia at Orchard Road. At night I was able to meet up with them for dinner with KC and An-An. An-An is only a little more then 1 month older then Mimi but they are so different in personalities. It will be interesting to see how they interact the next time they get together.
So Annie and I found a way to prove to Mimi that she once lived in Singapore. We had a chance to visit Allan and Linda who ran the maid agency downstairs from our old apartment complex. On their wall are several pictures and one of those pictures was this one of Jennifer was Mimi’s nanny for 3 months before we moved back to Taiwan. Allan has kept that picture up for over 1 year now. So maybe, just maybe years from now we can take Mimi to Singapore for vacation, take her to Allan’s office and show her that very same picture to her. Of course she might not believe it is her…
