This is Mimi and Dug. For those of you who don’t know Dug he is the talking dog that was in the Pixar movie ‘Up’ this past summer. Dug is also Mimi’s favorite toy ever since she got it for Christmas. She sleeps with Dug, talks to Dug, and takes him almost everywhere she goes.Since Christmas I have watch ‘Up’ at least 20 times and watch ‘Dug’s Big Adventure’ (the short animated movie that came with the Blu-Ray), at least 30 times. Watching ‘Up’ with Mimi doesn’t mean watching it from beginning to end, usually it consists of watching the part when Dug first appeared, then skipping to the end where Dug and Carl goes to save Kevin and Russell. I enjoyed ‘Up’ the first couple times I saw it, and to be able to keep Mimi interested for such a long time is really a testament of what a great movie it is for kids, however I really mean it when I say I would be very happy if I don’t see that movie again for a really long time.
